Ellen is a native of Louisville, KY, home to the Kentucky Derby. She first became interested in commercial real estate in her youth, as her father was active in CRE, buying and repurposing properties in downtown Louisville. She joined the team at Joel & Granot Real Estate in 2022 specializing in tenant representation in the office, medical and investment sales sectors.
Ellen prioritizes the overall goals of each client’s business and its culture, drawing from her experience in public relations, account services and investment sales for national and regional clients. Her career began in media relations with clients including Coca-Cola, Amoco & Lewis Grizzard. Ellen has extensive law firm experience, working with hospital revenue cycle leadership, predominantly in the southeastern United States, for a firm specialized in the medical reimbursement industry. As a tenant rep at JGRE, she seeks to arm tenants and investors with market information, resources, and analysis to maximize outcomes, so that her clients can focus on what they do best.
Ellen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Economics, and minors in Marketing and Italian. When not researching real estate for clients, Ellen enjoys hiking with her dogs, travel, Wordle & Nerdle, and spending time with her friends and family. Ellen and her husband, Aaron, have two daughters, Stephanie and Mia.
